What we store

When you register: name, e-mail address, company, phone, occupation and your estimate of masts per year, and your password - stored only as a salted hash, never readable.

While you use the tool: your projects, iterations, masts and pictures; calculation results and the reports you write, with date and author; the credits billed to your licence; a record of failed log-ins (for 15 minutes, against password guessing).

Why

To run your account and licence, to calculate and store your projects, to bill reports, to verify reports (a report's number shows its key data to whoever holds the report), and to keep the tool secure. Legal basis: the contract with you (Art. 31 revFADP; Art. 6 (1) b GDPR) and our legitimate interest in a secure service.

Where

On our own server in [country / location]. [Name any processors, e.g. the hosting provider.] Your data is not sold or passed on for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

Only what the tool needs: the log-in session, a protection against forged forms, and your choice of language and colour scheme. Your browser also remembers a few display settings (e.g. the last profile on the photo page). No analytics, no tracking, no advertising.

How long

As long as your account exists; billing records as long as the law requires [10 years]. Sessions end after 24 hours.

Your rights

You can ask what we store about you, have it corrected or deleted (as far as no legal duty to keep it applies), and object. Write to [e-mail]. You may complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) [or your EU supervisory authority].
